Happy NOVEMBER!

I wanted to share my most recent Burlap creations today!

These are in my Master Bedroom

On my awesome embroidery machine I embroidered this large 'K' which is my last name initial!  Then...purchased this frame at Joann Fabrics in which to display it on the wall of our newly painted Master Bedroom!

Then I made a Burlap bed skirt with one pleat on each side and added a button I covered in darker  brown burlap on each pleat!

Next I made a natural Burlap table runner also with the darker buttons!  Oh and took a little inexpensive, plastic waste basket  added a K  then hot glued it on and added  some ribbon....(it was actually more of a pain to do than any of the other items.)

...see the ampersand (&) my sweet husband picked up for me from an Antique Shop!  I told him that I keep seeing these in a lot of blog posts...so he thought of me when he saw this one.

Hi Judy! I love the texture of burlap and you proved that it can be elegant just as easily as casual. You did a wonderful job on the bedskirt, too!

Love the burlap bedskirt. Would love to see a tutorial on how you did it.

A hubby that visits antique stores? How awesome is that?!?! :)

Hi Judy. You sure do have some skilz! I love the bedskirt. I'm so jealous that you not only have an embroidery machine, but you also know how to use it! Take care.
