Three layers of linoleum and particle board to be removed!!!!!! Todd did the tearing up....I did the hauling it into the back of his truck....Wish I'd had a pedometer on to know how many miles I walked, that day, from the kitchen to the truck and back....repeatedly....but...that was NOTHING compared to the hard work Todd performed that Sunday afternoon! I tried ONCE to pull up a section and it didn't budge!
Mission accomplished!!!
Next came the new plywood and Durock ...
He worked on that for two more days.
Now we're waiting on the 20x20 tiles we picked out to be delivered~
We did go away for the weekend, to our Nephew, Matthew and Amy's pre-wedding cookout, in Goldsboro, NC, which is where Todd's brother, Mike lives. That was relaxing...(except for the 7 hour drive there and back). We stayed in a nice hotel ! The weather cooperated for a great cookout~ with Todd's family and friends!

Wow, that's a lot of work on the floor. It will be so worth it when the new tile comes in. Can't wait to see the end result. Glad to see you blogging!
It must be so rewarding to have done your own remodeling work! And I bet you do a much better job than any "professional" installers would do, because of the TLC you put into your own projects! Can't wait to see!
