DIY Curtains for our Living Room

One more step to being finished in the Living Room!  My Waverly fabric FINALLY arrived!  So I laid it out, measured, lined up the pattern, sewed and hung!  All in about 3 hours!!!!

I purchased 10 yards of 55" wide Waverly Mocha Chippendale Fretwork Fabric.  Using 9 yards, I cut 3 equal pieces measuring 55" x 3 yards. Since I only wanted two 96" panels, (one on either end of the set of windows,) I took one of the 3 pcs and cut it in half to add to the 2 full pieces.
With the remaining yard I will make some pillows for either the sofa or two of the chairs.  (I'll post about those later.)

I cut the panel with my pinking shears so it wouldn't unravel!

AFTER
Finished!  I can check one more thing off my list!!!

I have the same fabric in blue. I used it for pillows in my living room.

Very nice! I love the fabric. I've been looking for something similar for my living room. And I've recently conquered my fear of sewing and made curtains for my daughter's room.
