Family Room Makeover Complete!!
We've finished the Living Room Makeover and I'm ready to share some of the pictures!
My husband and I worked hard and long with lots of plans for a comfy, more formal living room and it's just the way we hoped it would be! All I'm waiting on now is the fabric we ordered so I can make the drapes! We've even mounted the hardware over the windows! There's always something we're waiting on!
This view is a little dark because of the bright sunlight coming in the window! I'll probably take a better pic when the sun gets to the back of the house in the afternoon. Or....when the drapes are up.
This one's better! But it's before we found our lamp at Kirkland's. The black table between our reading chairs was made by my husband, Todd. He found an old lamp at an antique mall and turned it into a table. Perfect spot for having our morning coffee too!
These dark chairs on the end were just temporary. We got them at Cash Liquidators in Forsyth, GA, years ago. That's where you can buy Hotel furniture that's been replaced when they remodel hotels. I thought about reupholstering them... till we found THE perfect pair!
Went shopping in Atlanta and found them at INTAGLIA a fabulous home furniture and collection store. It's in Ansley Mall if anyone is looking for something classic and contemporary! The garden stools are from PIER 1
Found these pictures at Kirkland's. They fit perfectly on this narrow wall beside our computer niche!
Still need to recover this old desk chair! Almost forgot about that! And add a few more things to the shelves above it!
My photography skills are somewhat off here! Found this table at Hilton Head in a quaint furniture/decor store. The lamps are from Tuesday Morning, here in Macon. The mirror is from Lowe's.
Also....still playing around with the mixing and matching of different pillows!
So....until next time, Bye! :-)
