Visited Tybee Island this past weekend!  Had pretty nice weather!  Looks like my relatives up north had quite a lot of snow!!!  I'm soooo glad to be living in the south!!  Not too much to blog about right now...just checking in!  Bye for now!

What a beautiful lighthouse. Lighthouses are one of my favorite things to explore. We have several on our Oregon coast.

I just realized you are a hair stylist. My sister also. She's always giving me hints (yeah, hints???) about my naturally curly crazy hair. Some days I love it. Most days it drives me crazy.

Thank you for signing up to follow me, Judy. I'm sorry it took me so long to return the "follow". I love your blog and you do not look near old enough to have children ages 28 and 26. I look forward to checking in on you and seeing what you're up to. Also, as Marla said, don't hesitate to pass on some hair hints. I'm starting to think that I'm too blond (age 52). When I watch "Sheer Genius", they talk about hair coloring being "age appropriate", but they don't elaborate, so now I'm wondering.... Take care!

Thanks Marla and Jan! I love your blogs! I also watched that episode of "Shear Genius" and thought the particular blonde in question needed a toner and some low lights to add some depth to her hair. I'm usually blonde in the Sprin/Summer...I like to go brown for Fall/Winter. That's the life of a hairstylist!!! CHANGE!!! Now I'm trying to grow it out a little! *(My husband says, "Yeah, right..I've heard that before" So I'm going to prove him wrong! Anyway...ttl!

Thank you for your compliments on my room, Judy, and for the suggestion of low lights on the hair. I love being able to network like this (haha).

Those large urn vases were discovered by me in a dumpster. Now before you get too excited, they were literally in about 20 pieces each. I used E600 and gradually pieced them back together like a puzzle. At one point I had to use rope to hold it all together while it dried. That was about 7 years ago, so I feel pretty confident it will hold now.

I also have a light in the taller one. When I turn it on it reflects off the ceiling in a soft pink glow.

Enjoy your evening!
